Ruth has always been passionate about animals and was determined from an early age to have a career in the animal therapy industry. After leaving school Ruth spent two years working on several yards gaining valuable experience working with a variety of horses. Ruth graduated from the University West of England- Hartpury College with BSc (Hons) in 2003. During this time Ruth specialised in the Therapy and Veterinary Science modules and worked at the colleges Therapy Centre. She then undertook a postgraduate diploma at the McTimoney College and graduated with a PGDip in Animal Manipulation in 2006. Since then to further her knowledge and expand the services offered Ruth has completed massage qualifications and has trained to use Omega Low Level Laser therapy to compliment the McTimoney treatment.
When Ruth is not treating horses and dogs she is busy with her own four legged friends. She started riding almost before she could walk and has now competed in many disciplines with her horses over the years. More recently she has taken up agility with her spaniel cross who is full of beans and loves his agility.
