Kinesiology Tape
Professional athletes have been using the benefits of elastic kinesiology tape since the mid 70s and it is now possible for your animals to realise those same benefits. Tape can help with both injury prevention/muscle assisting (training) and for injury recovery (rehabilitation).
Why Tape? - What are the benefits?

- Increases blood flow improving supply and circulation to an area while removing toxins

How does taping work?
The effects are achieved through correct application and use of the STRETCH and RECOIL of the tape. The tape I am qualified to use has been developed for use on animals and sticks well to hair providing it has not been coated in essential oils or coat shine.
The tape lifts the skin through its pull on the hair this decompresses the tissue underneath which provides a space between the muscle and the dermis thereby increasing blood flow and improving circulation. The tape can also be used to provide support whilst allowing full range of motion which is a real benefit when used as part of athletic training programs as well as therapeutic benefits. Tape applications can stay on for several days as the tape is breathable and tack and bandages can be applied over the tape, the tape can also be left on when the animal is washed down or given a bath.
